STORAGE AND EXPIRY

Store as packaged in the sealed pouch at 4-30°C, avoid hot and sunshine, dry place, valid for 24 months. DO NOT FREEZE. Some protective measures should be taken in hot summer and cold winter to avoid high temperature or freeze-thaw.
This kit is intended for the qualitative detection of anti-Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP) IgM antibody in human serum samples, and appropriate for early diagnosis of MP infection.

MP is one of the most common pathogens contributing to upper respiratory tract infection, tracheobronchitis and atypical pneumonia. The clinical manifestations of community acquired pneumonia caused by MPis atypical.There may be some non-specific symptoms such as headacheandfever, often accompanied by weakness anddry cough after 10 to 20days of incubation. It is difficult to make a differentialdiagnosisbased on clinical symptoms, therefore, it is often overlookedandcause seriouscomplications.

MP infection can occur at any age, but has a peak onset between 5 and 20 years. MP spreads through droplets in the form of aerosol particles. After being infected, people can suffer from Mycoplasma Pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP), which accounts for 10%-20% of all types of pneumonia. MP is responsible for 30%-50% pneumonia of military recruits, accounting for more than one-third of non-bacterial pneumonia. In addition, MP infection also can cause systematic alteration other than pulmonary system, and death cases have been reported, which has aroused clinical concern. Therefore, it becomes especially important to timely and effectively diagnose MP with laboratory
